Our Team
Rabbi Efraim Levyiev
Founder
Rabbi Efraim Leviyev grew up in a traditional home in Queens, NY. He was inspired to return to his roots through various outreach organizations. He graduated Forest Hills Public High School and realized he needed to know more about what it means to be a Jew. He then studied at Ohr Sameach in Israel, followed by Talmudic University in Florida and finally Shor Yoshuv in NY after marriage. He and his wife Bracha decided to move to Phoenix in 2015 realizing the unbelievable potential in the growing community. Seeing the void of kiruv organizations in Phoenix and watching the traditional Bukharian youth get more disconnected each day, motivated the Leviyevs to take action. That's where Lehadleek was born. Rabbi Leviyev has a smicha and Talmudic degree from Shor Yoshuv Institute. He currently learns at the Ahavas Torah Scottsdale Kollel and manages Lehadleek.
Rebbitzen Bracha Levyiev
Head of Girl's Division
Mrs. Bracha Leviyev shares a similar story to her husband growing up, but was fortunate to complete Shevach High School in Queens, NY. She then continued her studies at Meohr Bais Yaakov in Jerusalem and received her teacher’s certificate. She continued her studies at Touro College and graduated PA school in 2008. She has been employed full time in the clinical setting but has also given her time to Jewish education. She has worked for EMET in NY and Shearim High School in Phoenix. She is passionate about spreading Torah and Judaism to the next generation. She is currently employed at AFC Physical Medicine and Chiropractic and helps her husband manage the girl’s division of Lehadleek.
Rabbi Mordechai Geiger
Lehadleek Mentor
Mordechai attended Mesivta Birkas Yitzchak in Los Angeles, then continued his learning in Ner Israel (Baltimore) and Shor Yoshuv, while also studying Behavioral Science through Bellevue University. Mordechai spent the last year studying in Mir Yerushalayim. Mordechai works at the Phoenix Community Kollel Bais Medrash, but if you can't find him there, he is probably rock climbing or jamming on his guitar with his wife-Ayelet on drums. On top of that, he works with Lehadleek. The Geiger's have been active in Jewish outreach over the last several years and are enthusiastic about connecting with the Phoenix Jewish community!
Daniel Priyev
Lehadleek Leader
Natalie Suleymanov
Girl's Influencer and Program Leader
Natalie Suleymanov is 18 years old and currently a senior at Shearim Torah High School. She is planning to go to Eretz Yisroel for seminary this coming year. In the meantime she has developed such a love for her community and wants for it to grow and become a place where teens feel comfortable and “at home.”
Yitzchak (Igor) Meystelman
Lehadleek Leader
Daniel Priyev was born in New York, and raised in Arizona. Post high school, he spent 3 years learning in Derech, Ohr Somayach in Jerusalem, Israel. Daniel is currently in school learning engineering and working as a pharmacy technician. In his free time, he enjoys spending his time learning with others and bringing a positive light to Judaism!
Yitzchak (Igor) Meystelman came to the United States with his family from the former Soviet Union (Kiev, Ukraine) when he was 10 years old. After attending public schools in Brooklyn, he reconnected to his Jewish roots while attending UCLA. He then spent 2 years in Israel studying in Ohr Sameyach and Machon Yaakov. After practicing family law for over a decade, he decided to pursue his passion of working with couples and parents-children in an effort to help heal families. He is a Certified Imago Facilitator with a private coaching/therapy practice, as he pursues a Masters in Marriage and Couples Therapy.
